I hope this helps folks feel a bit less isolated and more entertained during these trying times. Note that for technical reasons, an internet connection is required to use the software without a license.

The Kickstarter campaign to fund MapForge’s development has ended, achieving a record-breaking $82K in funding (911% of the minimum funding goal)! Thanks to all the backers and artists who supported the project. If you missed the campaign, you will have to wait until September, when the MapForge web store launches, in order to purchase MapForge and/or Add-Ons for it.

The Battlegrounds Games website has gotten a complete makeover and been recreated in WordPress. This new site should look better on larger displays, and is now also mobile-friendly. May the old website, which looked like a holdout from the 1990s, rest in peace. Goodbye, white text on a black background! I’m proud of this new site, and in particular of the new BG Store page, and it represents an important milestone in the ongoing reboot of Battlegrounds Games. Oh, and the BG forums got a facelift to better match the new website’s color scheme.
