Export Screenshot function

Post by Zearthling » Sat Oct 27, 2012 9:04 pm

yea, no it's not working right for me I don't think. Exporting the screenshot within the BRPG program, gave me a 95kb text document that looks a little nightmarish... :!:
the Save As cascade widow only had "All Files" when exporting it.

Change the ".txt" to ".jpg" and it works fine.

Nice to see that you are trying out the Dead of Night game.

Make sure to disable snap-to-grid when placing items on the inventory cards.

yea I was doing that, but just for the tile pieces for rooms etc. once things are locked on the board, i usually just wing it and keep the snap on.

When you select the filename for the screenshot, can you include ".jpg" at the end of the filename?

Well, I don't know why the export feature is not making it JPG by default, but you can rename the extension manually in windows.

Control Panel --> Folder Options --> View tab

Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"

I also recommend unchecking "Hide protected operating system files" and selecint "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" while you're there. It's one of the first things I do when I install windows.
