The main features of this update are:

The format for Encounters and Deployments has not changed since v1.6c.
Edit: The BRPG v1.6d Patch for Mac & Windows has been recalled. Download BRPG v1.6e, instead.
Although a ReadMe file with the information below is contained in the v1.6d download, some people might find it useful to see the changes prior to downloading the zip file.
¢ Improved die roll reporting (in the Chat window and on the map window) by specifying the name of the dice macro rolled (which is usually also the reason for the roll) instead of just mentioning how many dice and of what type were rolled. If the dice macro is not named, the die roll report will be as in prior releases.
¢ Die roll summaries on the Die Roll Results screen now automatically appear in a smaller font size (and with smaller line spacing) if the roll summary is over a certain length. This allows for longer table results when using Reference Tables.
¢ Change: When rerolls are reported in the Die Roll Results window, the reroll results are now separated by a comma instead of a "+/-" sign if the dice are not being totaled.
¢ Change: The "Purge Artpacks" command has been changed to "Purge/Refresh Artpacks". Artpacks can now be enabled or disabled while BRPG is running, but this command must be activated after moving any artpack files. Units on the map are now redrawn after using this command.
¢ Change: Players can now show or hide units that they own. For players, this command works only on individual units, not on multi-unit selections.
¢ Bug fix: The Dice Rolling window was disappearing for Windows users when the "Roll Dice Macro..." button on the map window was used to initiate a roll.
¢ Bug fix: If a dice macro uses dice that have been disabled by the user, the dice are now properly remapped to blue dice. For example, if you roll a dice macro that was configured to use white dice, but you have since disabled your white dice, blue dice will be shown, instead. An alert will notify you of this substitution, so that you can reactivate the needed dice.
¢ Bug fix: Some dice sets were being unnecessarily linked to the Dice Roller window, even though they were already linked (resulting in some dice sets being linked twice). The Dice Roller should now open slightly faster the first time it is accessed in a BRPG session.
¢ Bug fix: Sometimes, after pressing the "Inspect Macro" button on the Dice Roller window, the wrong type and/or color of dice were being displayed in the Dice Macro Configuration screen.
¢ Bug fix: The last line of every reference table was not being properly read by the program unless an extra carriage return was inserted at the end of the reference table. This would result in an error message ("The dice roll result was outside of the table's parameters.") whenever that result was referenced by a dice macro.
¢ Bug fix: Fixed a formatting error in the sample Reference Table that comes with BRPG ("Random Weather.txt").
¢ Bug fix: Loading saved card games wasn't working properly.
¢ Bug fix: The portrait art in the top-right corner of the map window no longer flickers if the mouse is positioned over a token with a portrait and over the portrait art itself.
