Naga

Post by Farland » Sun Jan 13, 2008 1:03 pm

This is a naga I whipped up from other people's figures. I did very little, and I would give them full credit but I forget who made the original figures. Anywhere, here it is.

Very Cool! I took the liberty of editing his head a little...

Works for me. I'm not big on where his head connects to his neck either. It seems to need some blending. Also, it just occurs to me that giving him a forked tongue would be cool.

Hey Farland if you have the two bits of the naga as separate objects post them here and I'll make another cleaner edit and have a stab at blending the snakeskin into the head

You got it, pal. Think you could do a snake tongue too?

Perhaps use the snake skin texture for the head too :)

Or at least for the back part of the head. I think the face needs to be recognizably human.

It's a work in progress at the moment but this is where it's heading...

Final Version,

I had him complete then came to the conclusion he shouldn't really have human ears. I left slight "mounds" on the sides of his head to intimate that there might be some sort of hearing apparatus there but the edit was fairly quick and dirty. It will work on maps but probably wouldn't stand up to close scrutiny...
