Sliding Effect

The new sliding effect is really sweet.

Thanks to Full Bleed for his suggestion/prodding of Heruca to do that hehe

I sat there and played around with it for about 20 miniutes grinnin like a kid heheh

LOL! So did I! :lol:

What do you think of the effect's timing? I'm pretty happy with it, but can tweak it if people want. The slide takes longer for longer moves than short moves, but it never takes so long that it feels like it's slowing down the game.

Yep - it is neat and my original wish to have a 'teleport' ability can be done other ways, so - nice one!

I think the timing is just fine.

I slid figures from very short distance to all the way across the map.

hehe if you had animated GIF's for figures, it would look like the figure was flying!
