utilities for making hex grids

i found this site with some great little programs and tips on how to make maps and hex grids.

the program to get is the DrawHexGrid at the top. it does everything you could need (including numbering) AND it's free :)

I believe that's the app I used to create the numbered hexgrid (and the hexgrid with the centerdots) in the Close Assault digital game conversions. Highly recommended little app.
