Tokens: Lords of Adventure

Post by tailz » Thu Jan 27, 2011 1:57 am

Hello everyone, it is I, Tailz :)

I've been tinkering with some tokens again and I have just posted the fruit of my toil online at RPGnow.com.

I've also bundled both Heroes & Heroines packs for 25% off. 8)

Image
This is the second pack in the Heroes & Heroines series: The Lords of Adventure. This token pack is aimed at giving Players and Game Masters a wealth of male character tokens for use as: characters, NPCs, heroes, and if need be, villains!

What you will find inside:

Inside this pack you will find a number of "character sets" that contain digital tokens depicting a certain subject matter in a number of different poses. For example, a Roman Murmillo Gladiator with shield held high. Rendered in 3D from a birds eye view, in a number of poses from walking, marching, standing, talking, to employing weapons. Like all of WyldFurr's token & map packs, our tokens are rendered to a 3:1 scale, being three pixels to each real world inch (or as close as we can match).

The character sets contained within this package are:

Fantasy Theme:

* Camulos - Fantasy Warlord
* Holler - Deathknight
* Markus - Highwayman
* Sir Thomas - Knight of the Realm
* Tiberius - Murmillo Gladiator

Future Theme:

* Menthu - Astro Commando

Modern Theme:

* Balder - Nightclub Hero
* Bobby - High Street Gang
* Chad - The Officer
* Desmond - Pit Fighter
* Fantasy 2 Seat Sports Car
* Jarath - Spec Ops
* Kaide - Peasant Worker
* Nude - African Male
* Nude - Caucasian Male
* Tony - Wise Guy

Token Preview PDF: Want to have a look at all of the tokens in this pack, you can download the promotional PDF by clicking right here.

Looks good.

How many tokens are in this set? The product description doesn't seem to mention it.

I've just updated the rpgnow.com description to include the number of tokens in each character set.

Fantasy Theme:

* Camulos - Fantasy Warlord (60 tokens).
* Holler - Deathknight (34 tokens).
* Markus - Highwayman (33 tokens).
* Sir Thomas - Knight of the Realm (23 tokens).
* Tiberius - Murmillo Gladiator (35 tokens).

Future Theme:

* Menthu - Astro Commando (28 tokens).

Modern Theme:

* Balder - Nightclub Hero (55 tokens).
* Bobby - High Street Gang (37 tokens).
* Chad - The Officer (50 tokens).
* Desmond - Pit Fighter (46 tokens).
* Fantasy 2 Seat Sports Car (13 tokens).
* Jarath - Spec Ops (44 tokens).
* Kaide - Peasant Worker (58 tokens).
* Nude - African Male (42 tokens).
* Nude - Caucasian Male (38 tokens).
* Tony - Wise Guy (38 tokens).

Next project... ether some cars, or an addon pack for this set of the same character on horseback.

Yeah? Which ones? Do please write a review.

I'm starting to collect models for the next token pack, stuff like monster tyle things, dwarfs, funky stuff like that.

Ah yes, I will write a review for each pack. Will check each pack with the use of BRPG.

Dwarves would be very cool.
If possible: more sea critters (sahuagin, sharks, sea elves, mermen, sea horses, whales, aboleth, yellyfish, dragon turtle, snakes, dinosaurs, locath, etc, etc. )

Neat pic. Is there a fence on the side of the road? Looks like it needs a little shadowing?

Thanks for the kind words Kepli, and you gave me some good hints too.... will look at adding a wider range of weapon poses from now on.
