Minor issue: locked/tiled object can still be rotated

Post by Kazander » Tue Sep 14, 2010 9:40 pm

Like I said, it's a minor issue, but if you select an Object using the Unit Manager, you can still rotate it even though it may be Locked and/or Tiled.

In fact if it's only Locked, all you need to do is Right-click on it, and it will be selected so you can rotate it. Left-clicking doesn't allow you to select the Object, as it shouldn't.

I should tend to think you probably shouldn't be able to do that. Is it just me? Was it a design choice?

The Unit Manager is supposed to be a modal window. It shouldn't be possible to select or otherwise affect units on the map while this panel is open. So yeah, it's a bug.

To clarify, this does not happen while the Unit Manager window is open.

The UM allows you to select the locked/tiled object in question, and after you close the UM window it remains selected and you can freely rotate it.
