[OLD] Map Zooming

Map Zooming has finally been added!
Unfortunately it is only partially implemented at this time.
You may currently zoom from 20% to 200%.
  • Distortion
    Currently there can be some distortion when using the Zoom feature. This will be fixed as the feature is fully implemented.
  • Mouse Dragging
    Mouse-dragging of units does not yet work while at any zoom other than 100%. In v1.0 it will work as long as Snap-to-Grid is disabled.
  • Mac Scrollwheel Zoom
    Mac scrollwheel support is not curently available in Director, so heruca will not be able to add it to BRPG for the time being.

    It has already been added for PC users.
  • New Hotkeys
    The next version of BRPG will require that the CTRL key be held while pressing the Up or Down Arrow key to zoom.

Yay for map zooming! Absolutely need this for the Heavy Gear game I'm a player in. I can understand the huge portraits for a RPG, but for tactical games, you sometimes need to see the whole map.

Omnidon, I've edited some of the text in your above post, as it was obsolete or incorrect.

I haven't updated the summary in a while, and a lot of the threads need it.

I'll try and get around to that soon... hopefully ;-)
