A dynamic RSS feed has been added to the forums.

It will automatically fetch the 15 most recent topics from the forum.

rss.php

You can filter for specific forum sections by indicating the forum ID in the URL.
For instance, the Product Releases forum RSS feed would be:
rss.php?f=3

You can find the forum ID of any forum section by looking at the f= portion of the URL when viewing a forum section.

UPDATE:
Although it will still default to 15, users may now customize the length of the feed by supplying a custom "limit" variable.

For example, 5 threads from the Product Releases forum would be:
rss.php?f=3&limit=5
25 threads from any forum would be:
rss.php?limit=25

Allows up to 100.

In addition, it now allows viewing of restricted forum posts if you are logged in.

Thanks so much! Just a note to the curious: it seems to work with containers as well as individual fora. For instance, ID 38 gets you all news, including product releases, other news, and developer's notebook.
