Modern maps for horror games (and more)

Post by heruca » Mon Feb 12, 2007 2:32 am

I've found a neat website that has super-looking Dundjinni-made maps available for download that would work well in BRPG.

http://web.mac.com/nan56/iWeb/Site/Maps%202.html
There you will find horror-themed maps that recreate scenes from the films Psycho, Night of the Living Dead, and Silence of the Lambs. There are even some black & white versions for those who like to keep the retro look.

Also go here for other great maps by the same artist (Jeff, aka Falloutboy12):

These are really worth a look.

Touchy, touchy.

FYI: I added a little more acknowledgement of Dundjinni to my site. Happy now? Sorry, but I'm just not as much in love with the program as some people apparently are. But I'll give credit where it is due, and the program makes the maps possible, despite its limitations. I had no idea how sensitive people were about this kind of thing.

Well most people aren't quite as fanatic about Dunjinni as Kelpi is ;-)

I wasn't tremendously impressed with it myself, but then again I'm too lazy to make maps most of the time anyway.

LOL I was just teasing you Falloutboy

I really like your DJ maps and although DJ does indeed have it's limitations, the results usually speak for itself (like obviously in your case). And belief me, DJ 2.0 will be a good improvement on the current version :D

Bump to let you know that the site has been updated with two new maps, including the Antartic Base from the movie The Thing, by John Carpenter. Cool stuff.

Looks like the whole site has had a major redesign. Wow! There's a LOT of great maps there now. 8)

The links above seem to be dead now. :(

If anyone knows a new URL for this great map collection, please let us know.

The only thing I could find was this.
