AoEs as Objects

I was playing around with AoEs and decided to create a test example of a 20' Cone Object that could be used for AoEs.

It can be rotated around its centre. There are two cones in the one object so that it will work with corner cones (northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest) or cones directly ahead (north, east, south, west).

After making it I found that if you don't have some kind of a graphic in the centre you can not drag and move it. I added it later and it works great, the example below doesn't have a graphic in the middle.

I'm going to use this rather than the gridded D&D system. If the figure's square is covered 50% or more than it is within the AoE.

Another example of an Object being used as an AoE. A Ghoul getting targetted by a 20' radius AoE (Fireball).

I like the added cross ... it makes finding the middle less troublesome

Nice work!

Aesthetically I prefer the rounded AoE templates to the square D&D ones but I also think the square ones avoid arguments / misinterpretation and help keep the game moving.
