I could see that working, and adding additional useful functionality.

I take it that it isn't possible to do something like raising that particular figure to a layer above the FoW just for that single player?

I agree on both counts. The light should include whole squares/hexes, and that revealing the figure is sufficient in most circumstances. It breaks down when you have very large figures though; especially something really large like a dragon. Your sample only has a double-size figure, which is not ba...

Right now, a possible workaround would be to place a text label on the map (perhaps as a small floating object) to remind you to apply the effect every turn, and then attach a dice macro to it that is set to affect the Turn Sequencer stats of the selected unit/s. You would still have to trigger the...

Didn't seem to need it. The die roller came up after that.

Weird, huh?

Disappearing die roller debugging

If the Dice Roller ever disappears, type "debugDM" (sans quotes, all one word) into the Chat window and press the Return key. This will produce a "bug report" of sorts in the Chat window's chat output pane. If you submit to me via email the dice macro information reported, it may help me find a cau...

Measure Range tool interferes with Figure Notes

Sometimes, if your target for the Measure Range tool has unit notes, there's a bug. They don't show up, which I'm pretty sure is by design. Instead, you either get an odd graphic square/rectangle or two, either black or white, or you get a notice "unit notes failed to load". Not a big bug to squash ...

This is confirmed fixed now.

However, I just have to state that the CAPSLOCK is not an ideal hotkey, because it's a toggle key not a press-and-hold key. The behavior simply isn't as desirable.

I realize you're running out of hotkeys these days though. :)

I haven't actually constructed any encounters with them yet, but I have played with them enough to get familiar with the process. I think in the absence of better browsing capability, it is useful. It does speed up the process. If BRPG could browse these units in a scrollable window, and drag-and-dr...

the AoEs in BRPG were coded in such a way that their rotation and centerpoints are determined by keywords in each AoE graphic's filename Interesting. Okay, I won't waste time trying to fix my graphic files then. It never occurred to me that you'd anchor them based on name, but when it's simply a gr...

Thanks for trying, Heruca. I guess that must mean the program I'm using to create these hex grids must be imperfect, right? Anyone have any suggestions for making ones very much like your own, or the current AoE overlays? I didn't want to use the BRPG grids because they're already antialiased, so wh...

Audio attached to Figures problem

There's an intermittent bug with audio files attached to figures. Last night, the first time I moved a figure that had an audio file attached to it, the file played without any prompting on my part. It only played on the attached client computers, not the host. Just moving the figure. After the firs...

I'm struggling to get my templates centered properly. When I import it, I have to adjust about 4 pixels up and 4 left. This looks good until I rotate it, when it goes off-center. I tried padding the .png file with transparent canvas to the right and bottom, but this doesn't seem to work. What's the ...

Sorry about the map size and resolution errors. I've been stuck on 2400x2400 for so long--I just plain keep forgetting it's 4000 square. Not sure why; stubborn neurons? The 61 pixels/hex was a just plain old silly mistake. Regarding the Arc of Vision though, I'm going to have to respectfully disagre...

Arcs of Vision Templates

It would be useful in some games to have have Vision Arc templates you can attach to figures, much like you can with Areas of Effect. There are game effects attached to where in your Arc of Vision an enemy may be, and sometimes it would be nice if BRPG supported this, like for when you decide to put...

Problem with "Remove Current Token"

Interesting problem with the new "Remove Current Token" feature. I like to have, if possible for my players at least, 1 token where the PC is standing and another for when they're prone. The former is a 1-hex token and the latter is a 2x1 hex token. I've tried it a couple of times now where I have a...

David, I play GURPS all the time, in a Fantasy setting of my own using BRPG. Have been doing so for 2.5 years. I like BRPG because of the active support of the developer, and the native support for Hex maps. GURPS support is not just an afterthought like it is in so many of the other VTTs. Also fron...

Neat....I didn't notice this one because I've been using larger-than-the-FoW maps for a while, and thus had it turned off. 1.6j does it too.

Probably that 40x46 grid change that did it... :)

I'm inclined to agree. However to make it more user-friendly and idiot-proof, it would be nice if a small graphic replaced the Views palette with a notice "Views Palette Disabled Due to Window Width". That way I won't post a "Missing Views Palette" as a bug 3 months from now after I've forgotten abo...

The "crashing while rotating a unit with the mouse wheel in Windows" bug appears to be fairly new, and is one of the few bugs I know of that can actually crash the program. Trying to create some 'vision' templates

I'm trying to create some 'vision' templates that will work similarly to the gridded AoE templates. These templates will show what a character with a certain level of vision (Peripheral Vision, Normal Vision, No Peripheral Vision and Tunnel Vision) can see. This is easier than looking it up--the las...

Mouse over on views panel

Small bug really, but probably something you want to fix. If your BPRG window isn't maximized on the screen (vertically at least), then the sensitivity to mouse-over to make the views panel appear is displaced, until when BRPG is about 3/4 screen height you can't make the views panel appear at all. ...
