LZW 1 Artpack.cxt conflicts with the Raven lands

Like my past post the LZW 1 Artpack.cxt messes with the raven lands mixing up the maps. So don't use them together.

Speeding up the game

Hi all, Here are a few tips learned the hard way to speeding up the game. 1) Shut off other programs that you don't need. (i.e. Firewall and virus scanner if your not online... that was a bit embarrassing) 2) Have your encounters and maps playtested. (i.e. screens of fog will prevent your players fr...

Speeding up the game, and time savers!

Trying to get my players up to speed with the software I did the following: 1) printed off the Help files and had them on the t...

Yes, it was a blip in otherwise fantastic service on your part Heruca. Your hands on approach of Battlegrounds did not have me worried.

On a side note finally got the Armies of the Deep art pack up and running it looks great!

I like it, but it does have a map export cap of 99 pixels per square. You can make a map then reedit the same map to have 122 pixels per square in another program.

It is fun to use, thanks for this latest version! 8)

Waiting with baited breath, For Dundjinni to start selling!

I had gotten the new (to me anyways) BRPG, got the go ahead to buy a copy of Dundjinni, when whoa and behold, nada, no copies to have. I was impressed with the quality of the map art. Oh, well! I have scavenged enough art to make nice but bulky maps. Sour grapes and all that (hangdog facial expressi...

The SC's Mines Artpack Works with the Ravenland Map 1 & 2!

The Ravenland packs work fine with the SC's Mines pack! It was DevilDan's Monster Tokens art pack causing conflicts in both of them all this time.

Here's one of the culprates!

Gotya! DevilDan's Monster Tokens, artpack causes a script error prompt when trying to use the maps from the ravenland map pack 2. It also causes the maps to load up diffrenly from the preview in pack 1. As an example, you want the ravenlands cave from pack 1, and you get the village inn from pack 2....

Ravenlands Map Pack 1.cxt and Ravenlands Map Pack 2.cxt

Ok I can do that. My OS is Windows 7. I am using BRPG v1.6m with the BRPG_v1_7_Patch. My art packs that I am using are: Base Map Pack 1, Component Dungeon Pack 1, Component Sewer Pack 1, DevilDan's Monster Tokens, Devin Night's Sci-Fi Tokens, Dice, DN's Character Tokens 2, DN's Dark Lair Tokens, DN'...

No the file is just "Base Setup.bge" so it is not that. I was using the the text tool at the time to write on the reference sheets. Perhaps I used too much text?

Yes, both art packs work with each other with no conflicts. I just have them loaded with all other art disabled.

Disabling the other art packs

Yes that was the trick. By disabling the other art packs and preforming a media purge. It works great. On a side note the ravenland packs also work if you do the same and only use one at a time.

SC's Mines Artpack.cxt

I found that the SC's Mines Artpack.cxt works great alone with all media purged and the single art pack refreshed. I am thinking this may also work with the Raven map packs if they are used one at a time. Let you know if this works and will continue to try to find out which art pack have conflicts a...

Mine and raven art packs

It looks like the artpacks are getting mixed up with each other. I am going to map out the problem further, but it seems that Ravenlands pack 1 is using maps from pack 2 and some of the Mine pack art.

Ravenlands Map Pack 1.cxt and Ravenlands Map Pack 2.cxt

I have been running into more 'script' errors with both the maps and fogwar for both these packs. Some maps with pack one are not showing up , all of pack 2 maps are not showing up, and the fog of war with both packs are not working.

Encounter File Corruption

I have been running in to an issue with setting up encounter files. I have been setting up an off the table area to roll dice and have charts. It needed to be out of view of the players even at 20% view so it is very far off the edge, but when reloading the file. It tells me "Encounter data is not v...
