I am currently running a GURPS old west campaign that had players drop out but i have refilled their places. That said i wont mind running a one of game or two for you to get the feel of battlegrounds and VTT gaming in general. The first game i would propose is a GURPS combat demo in a gladiatorial ...

Missing text in chat window

During todays session i noticed a strange possible bug. The chat window seems to have part of the chat area missing. I have attached a screen shot of the same text in version 1.6a (complete) and 1.6m (some text missing) for comparison.
no amount of resizing the window seems to cure the problem.

I have created a new test map including a dice table on the side using the dice art pack. This allows players to roll hidden rolls thenselves. It is a little cunky (due to not being aware who rolled the dice lol) but did allow players to remain masters of their own destiny. It reports who rolled wh...

The GM should make and predistribute media asset bundles for each encounter. The players then import the media ahead of a game. This will mean no lengthy P2P transfers.

I am a GURPS gm who is currently using Battlegrounds to run my online wild west campaign. I have found that it is a very gurps friendly program in that it has in built HEX map suport unlike some others. I have run very roleplay based sessions using the text editor which proved to be up to the task. ...

This campaign takes place approximately twice a month (not on a regular set day due to strange work schedules of the gm plus one player) and has three players, two of whome use the GM's two floating liscences. The third player has his own liscenced copy of battlegrounds. We are currently using versi...

GURPS old west campaign

I have been running a sucessful old west campaign using GURPS and Battlegrounds for a little while now. I have three players and we aim to hold two sessions a month. I noticed something strange when doing the prep work for last nights game. In 1.6k when i used the load deployment here option the figures added were well stuck together as one. I had to right click the stack and choose select which seperated the figures. As 1.6i did not do this i wondered if this w...

No media assets were that big unfortunately.

The strange thing is it was when the player who used to suffer the mysterious map failures with 1.6i logged on that the lag started.
On a side note that mysterious issue has disapeared with 1.6k lol

A question of size

I made a map using some grapihic software and saved it as a jpeg image of 596kb. i loaded it into battlegrounds and it was great so i made a media bundle to distribute to the players. the media bundle came out at 13 megabytes. for an encounter with just a 596 kb map. Is that right? I was hoping to r...
