Hey guys, got Orland finished for all four stages. It's 8.95 MB zipped, so where do you want me to send it (my piddly little FTP space maxes out at 10 MB)? Oh, and I used Lucida Calligraphy for the font... Far, I've been working with the Orlandcity.jpg file to see about getting the city blocks fille...

Okay, I'll work up the troop movements and have them posted tonight. You prefer the stone or leather (or another) border?

Howdy folks...didn't have the lead time I'd need to mimic Venger's style (those are great!). But here's my shot at the Battle of Orland. Far, let me know likes/dislikes and I'll do the other troop placements. http://bellsouthpwp.net/e/r/eric_ang/Battle_of_Orland_Initial_Leather.jpg http://bellsouthp...

I picked these up a while back (may be more than a year now, can't remember) as I had some extra PayPal money laying around. They're pretty nifty for whipping out quick rooms. Throw in some post-work and they turn out fairly nice.

fseward, I'm running the Savage Tide game as well, and have been working on the graphics for use in my games. I've found the PDF supplements to be excellent, esp. the hi-res versions as you can pull out some really nice maps for quick use without even needing to scan anything. They've also been prov...

Heh, just got back from a trip (not exactly a vacation--mission/charity work) in Kenya. Unfortunately, I didn't get to take all the crazy pics like I did from my Mexico trip.

I did get a few shots of some interesting flora and fauna amongst my 500+ pics that might make some good objects...

Any idea how large the GO community was before it died?
Hard to say. Last I recall on the boards they were up into the 500-700 member range, but active posting was more in the 10-15 range.

Hey guys, a little delayed in my response but yes, from what I can tell GO is dead. I was a mod/admin on the forum, but received nothing notifying me the site was going down, and it's now been so for nearing a month. I've got no way of contacting the owner to find out what's up, but I know they were...

Long time no post (as usual) from me, but here's a shot of me and the lovely wife...and yep, she's a gamer! :D

This is actually from the Cancun trip where I snagged all the pics I used in that reef art for DJ.

d20 is almost exclusively square grid now, as teh system is written around squares. No specific or standard scale--jsut whatever best fits the publiscation size. If you're at greater than 1 cell=5', then a grid isn't really even necessary for d20 as the map couldn't be directly used in an encounter ...

There are some other versions floating about as well...I'll see if I can dig up some links. Some do basic calculations within the PDF. I'd prefer using Excel spreadsheets, though--I've got one I use for all my characters that does a lot of the calculations for me, yet isn't as large as, say, HeroFor...

Hey heruca, how long you looking to test? We're finally getting the new house settled in and I'd probably have an hour or so of free time between finishing up some painting and such.

I agree with heruca on getting out your work. You can buy a store account over on E.N. I'm a first-timer right now on getting a PDF out for sale, so I'll...
