Try right clicking on the app in the bar below, and selecting "Move". Then, use the arrow keys and see if it allows you to move it onto your active screen.

I don't know if this will work in Vista, but in XP when this happens, this is the solution.

Unfortunately, I've completely lost touch with my old gaming group and never really established a new gaming group that I could play virtually with. I've started to try to pull something together, though... it looks like penandpapergames.com is OK for finding folks... I've at least got 2 or 3 folks ...

Group matchmaking

So, I'm curious... traffic here on the matchmaking front is understandably a bit slow, whereas traffic on functionality, bug testing, and so forth is as hoppin' as would be expected sooo... where do folks go to do their matchmaking?

Dark Heresy

Hi, Guys! I just recently picked up Dark Heresy and was thinking about getting a game going on BRPG, but I thought I'd check around to see if anybody else has experience running a DH game in BRPG? Any caveats I should know about? I'd also love to hear about good map resources for DH if anybody has a...

Looking forward to watching this grow.

Something Nice: New User Night

It would be nice to have some of the old hands and/or Heruca run occasional "new user nights" to help folks get familiar with BRPG. It would really help to get some real experience with how it's supposed to look and operate.

Just popping in to say that I have a dedicated gaming room, I have a projector on the way, I'll be running two copies of Battlegrounds on my laptop, and as soon as it's all set up, I can take some pictures. It's worth noting that there have been cases where running two copies on one box has caused ...

Yeah, WotC's handling of their game table (I'm to PAY for miniatures?!?!? EXCUSE ME?!?!?) made me come back and have another look, and seeing how far it had come since my last look I decided to buy enough licenses for a full group. The disappointing thing is, I haven't actually managed to PLAY in a ...

I ran into the issue with the grid being a different size than the GM grid, but only when I was running two instances of the client on one machine.

Does this in any way relate to your own experience?

What I really don't like is that, at least so I've heard, is that their VT app is subscription based. I admit that the 3-D effect is cool, but $15 a month cool? No way! Especially when I'll probably only play D&D 4e once a month. You missed the best bit, this was what really put me off the thing......

It does strike one as very strange that it could have such an affect, and yet I'm not terribly surprised that such a bizarre bug could happen in a Microsoft product.

If they could make competing VTTs illegal to use to play 4e, you know they would.

I regret having bought 4e, I'm a GURPS geek anyway.

Yeah, Shadowrun was one of the very early genre-benders. At the time, I preferred my cyberpunk straight up, but it was incredibly popular in its day.

Heruca - Are you asking what the actual Shadowrun is like, or what fb66's Shadowrun-esque background will be like?

If you're not familiar with Shadowrun itself, here's a good Wikipedia entry on it.

Turning off snap to grid looks like the correct way to do what I was wanting to do, but it's probably still worth knowing that free floating and rotation don't co-exist.

BUG: Free floating kills rotation

Found a bug, if you drop an object (I hit it with doors) and rotate it 90 degrees to be vertically aligned and then switch it to free floating to place it it loses the rotation as soon as you switch to free floating mode. When you switch back out of free floating mode it goes back to the rotation it...

Yeah, the Flash thing is definitely at the top of my list of things I need to dig into. I'd really like to create some tools to help me automate my game more (but don't tell Steve, he hates people automating GURPS).
