I'm not really wrapping my head around the purpose of BGE or where the real need is for it with what you have with your flagship product. A boardgaming-specific VT without all the extraneous RPG-related features in the way at a significantly lower price point might convince quite a few gamers that ...

This is not a command that is unavailable in the Demo, and is unaffected by having "Learning Mode" enabled. The problem was that I was using an earlier version of the demo. I downloaded the latest beta (1.6) and the option was there. By the way, is it possible to have two or three different maps op...

I open a map up. I place a random object (one that comes with the demo, like a blanket or a fireball or whatever). I right-click the object and "Use Current Token" is not in the menu.

UPDATE: The feature was not available in the demo version I was using.

To help ease the learning curve for new users, BRPG has something called "Learning Mode", which hides certain commands and features from a user until they have mastered the basics. "Free-Floating" is an advanced feature, so you will not be able to see it until you disable "Learning Mode" (this is d...

Place an object, set the Portrait to be the current token, set the object to be Free-Floating, and then do an "Edit object...: to scale it way down. I can place an object but how do I "set the Portrait to be the current token" and how do I "set the object to be Free-Floating" (there is no option fo...

Battlegrounds v2 will probably have a more direct support for what you are describing (you seem to essentially want a second window to place stuff on, in addition to the map window). No, I want to be able to have as many reference windows opened as my computer can handle and I want to be able to sh...

Place an object, set the Portrait to be the current token, set the object to be Free-Floating, and then do an "Edit object...: to scale it way down. I will be honest: This sounds complicated, time consuming, counter-intuitive and not what I'm looking for. I need to be able to pull up lists of gear ...

I am clicking on "Library" and then selecting a category and the image. I open the image designed for reference purposes (image is composed of text and a picture of the critter) but I can only open one at a time, which is a problem. I'm guessing the "Send Visual Aid" feature is what I should be usin...

Library

I would like to be able to import information from PDFs of the game universe I play. For instance, it would be great to be able to have a library of critters, with each image not only showing what the critter looks like but also any information about him. This can be done by taking a screen shot of ...

The features for BRPG 2.0 look exciting, especially the ability to generate random maps. In a message to me you mentioned your new project called BGE . I'm not really wrapping my head around the purpose of BGE or where the real need is for it with what you have with your flagship product. As for the...

Shadowrun

I'm not ready just yet but anyone who is interested in playing Shadowrun 4th Edition can reply here. It'll probably be a few more weeks out before I have everything compiled that I need. For instance, right now I'm adding every single table that appears in the corebook so it will be easily accessibl...

Shadowrun

I'd like to give Shadowrun 4th Edition a shot and simultaneously get a feel for what BRPG is capable of. Alternatively, I'll admit here that while I am a Shadowrun game master (2nd Edition), I've never been too happy with the system. For me, SR4A has been a let down, so I'm taking the steps to desig...

I'm a Shadowrun game master from years back and I'm looking to jump back in and do it in a big way. The idea is to bridge the gap between the "jump right in" action of an MMORPG versus the preparation required for your typical pen and paper game. I was typically one to create runs on the fly anyway,...

Random Encounters

Is it possible to save a map that contains enemies and already has the fog of war set? The idea is that dozens or even hundreds of random encounters could be saved with different maps, various enemies and the fog of war already set so these encounters can be loaded on the fly and players can jump ri...
