It looks very similar to that bug, sorry I didn't see that thread or I would have just attached this data to it (I did look, honest!) It was just the Dice Macro button on the bottom left of the screen, both my player and I were just using our own macros, and neither was attached to a specific figure...

1.6b Dice Macro Bug

Something opdd happened tonight when we were playing. I clicked on the dice macro button on the buttom left of the screen and clicked on a macro... and after that I could no longer see the dice window. Not clicking the dice roller menu option, not with the R key, and not even dice history. One of my...

Okay, I must have done something wrong when I was doing it in 1.6a.

Thanks!

Was that something you added for 1.6b?

If I save the encounter again after adding some more objects or figures, will it change the URL to the image title in media storage, or will it leave the URL there?

Map URL in Encounter?

I've been importing mapos using the text macros to load a map with a URL for a while, but it was suggested recently that you could have that automatically occur when you load an encounter. I'd like that. Is this true? How do I set that up? I tried building an encounter by first loading the map from ...

Yeah I saw that I had saved it without the URL.

Don't worry about it, I just thought it was odd that this encounter suddenly didn't want to display backgrounds.

How very odd. I'll change the name on that. Strange that this would cause a problem. Any idea why?

Open the Encounter in a text editor and see if the URL to your server-hosted map is stored in there (somewhere near the beginning of the file). It'll do that? I only thought it would load from the web if you specifically told it to do so! That would be handy so I can do a web load automatically. I'...

I went from 1.4i, just started using 1.6a last weekend. The lush grass map I was using wasn't part of a map pack though, it was just an old map in my maps directory. But because the other players didn't have said map, I put it on my web server and loaded it that way before the encounter. Although in...

Was the bug something with Lush Grass itself? I found I couldn't load it into my encounter tonight either.

I wasn't playing, it was just to check before I mailed it off. What was odd was that it was fine last weekend.

Oh, if you don't want the media bundle then it'll be small.

Okay, I'll send it right off.

Enailing files now.

edit -

The file is too big for my ISP mail server. Is there somewhere I can upload it to directly? Or if I break it up into 2 or 3 rar files, and send it as seperate emails, wil that be ok?

I could use Zip instead if you prefer.

By any chance, had you enabled the option for text labels to be included in the Turn Sequencer? I recently found a bug that occurs with that option if an object is assigned to the TS, and it has already been fixed for v1.6b. Yes I had. So that explains that part. The media asset file for that one i...

Turn Sequencer problems

We ran our first game under 1.6a last night, and for the most part we were pleased with it. Once we turned the TS off that is. It was a large encounter with a bunch of minions and regular monsters, we would get script errors fairly often, and it seemed to be using a lot of bandwidth! At one point I ...

One of my players is on a Mac, and using a HUGE monitor, he likes to have the die roller up to one side, but it keeps on moving back. He'd like it to stay where he put it.

I've never had much luck with Fog of War either. As an alternative to drawing specific shapes to cover areas you can just use generic cover objects. The object set has large cover objects in circles, squares, and hexes. I put several of these over the areas I want to keep obscured for now, and then ...

Thanks for the tips pyroknight. I didn't think any of my files were that big, but the total could well have exceeded 600 KB. I get a lot of my objects off the dundjinni forums, and some of those are bloody huge, where I have to reduce them to 10 or 20% of the original size to get them to fit in a sq...

And another

This player is using a Mac. He also has his own player license where the others connect through floating licenses. First, he never used to get script errors, and started getting them in 1.4i. Second in 1.4e if he lost connection and had to reconnect (usually after restarting the program) he had no p...

Player comments

One of my players got back to me, and had this to add: Inability to use the "Disconnect" button to actually disconnect. - Two of my players experience this. They can't actually Disconnect. Once they join a game they can't Disconnect, even if I close the session first, their session still thinks its ...

Old Problem

Three problems actually. Also note that this is with 1.4i, so if these have been addressed in the newer beta versions then toss this in the garbage and call it a day. Problem the First - I was playing a game last weekend with my group and for the first time in a while I had tossed a few things on th...

Just wanted to add that I've been using this recently, and it is great to work with. Much easier than any tile set I've used before. Of course the BRPG enhancement that keeps a setting for an individual tile stored for next time is really handy too! :D I just want to make a request - DOORS! I'd love...

::edit!::

Okay, I think I found it. A personal webspace thing with a 100 MB of space. For free just for having my account.

If this doesn't work out I may still hit you up for that space, but this sounds like what I need.

Thanks!
