Nice guide. Note that iTabletop hasn't been subscription-based for a year or so now. It's currently $25 for a GM licence. However, it's still quite buggy, though playable (and in my opinion well worth chipping in for). I'd actually point to the way iTabletop integrates with the social networking too...

Ah yes, dropping the wound rule would tip things towards the Humans. Better if you don't want the angst! Although there is something glorious about the vain battle of the plucky humans against the hordes.

I just finished another solo game. Lost again! ;-) Just under 90 minutes that time. Playing correctly and not respawning the zombies up to 16 once I'd started losing humans probably made the difference. That game was going really well at one point, until Kirstie infected herself with the chainsaw......

When playing ZP it's quickest to use the keyboard as much as possible. You can click Shift-Return to step the turn sequence, but although the next player token is highlighted you can't move until you click on it. Further to the "Browse Roll History" fix, the new dice roller button from the map seems to work well, but it only works if the dice roll browse window has been opened at least once before in that BRPG session.
